Black and Pink Massachusetts is an independent, volunteer-fueled organization working for abolition of the criminal punishment system, which disproportionately impacts lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex people, as well as those living with HIV.
Black and Pink MA has created multiple programs, including a pen pal initiative, bail and court support, and housing support, for the incarcerator and formerly encarcerated LGBTQ+ community.
Their mission is to abolish the prison industrial complex and liberate LGBTQ+ people and people living with HIV/AIDS who are affected by that system through advocacy, support, and organizing.
